I read a lot of reviews for the 4th season of Six Feet Under. They all said the first episode wasn't all that great. They were ALL wrong. This was an EXCELLENT start to a new season.
SPOILERS AHEAD for those who Recorded it, like me.>>>>>>
The end of the episode shows Nate burying his wife under the tree from the opening sequence. The opening sequence which hasn't changed in 4 seasons and which places the title of the show six feet under the tree. This brings a whole new symbolism to life for me.
END SPOILERS >>>
The first episode was a great beginning and the critics say the series really picks up in week 2. I cannot wait!
The whole cast is back. It is great to watch Rico squirm around after his infidelity and George (played by James Cromwell) is a ticking time bomb. I'd say he is set to go off any time now. He seems to have an underlying viciousness that is just waiting to come out. I see a confrontation with Arthur in his future...
Nate is all kinds of messed up and who knows where that is going....and with whom.
Sunday Night HBO 8pm EST/CDT it is not to be missed!
