The Democratic National Convention

The 2004 presidential campaign officially begins tonight. There is no better way to start things off than with a speech from William Jefferson Clinton. During the 2000 convention, Clinton was nothing short of awesome. He is the best campaigner in the history of the Democratic party. Tonight he will tell us everything we need to know in regards to why we should put our faith in John Kerry. He will be dazzling, exciting and articulate. He will have us warmed up and ready to go vote for the Kerry ticket.

This week we will see Al Gore, and John Edwards making wonderful and powerful speeches. Then the finale will be John Kerry on Thursday night. The expectation has been drilled into for months that Kerry is boring. They have been saying Kerry is dry....and inarticulate... and not expecially good at rallying the troops. I am glad this expectation has been set, because it is patently false. It is a smear campaign and nothing more. John Kerry will step up and show us his plan for a Stronger, Safer, and more Prosperous America.
